GTA V Tips and Tricks: How to Use Stock Market Part 1 (Without Patches or BAWSAQ)
0In this Video, I show myself passing "The Multi Target Assassination" with Gold followed by how to manipulate the LCN Stock Market to make over 300 Million with all 3 Characters.
I am not sure if it matters or not, but just to be safe, make sure it's Monday in-game! Some Sources on the Web state this while some others do not. I slept in the bed to progress time in order for it to be Monday. I used Franklin, but if you sleep using Trevor, he can progress the game clock by 12 in-game hours while Franklin and Michael can only progress the game clock by 8 in-game hours!
This is how to use the Stock Market if you're playing on PS3 and Xbox360 and more importantly Version 1.00. If you're on 1.00, then you simply CAN NOT USE the BAWSAQ Stock Market because it requires you to be updated to the latest Patch and with an active Internet Connection. Since I do not intend to reach the money cap which is 2.1 Billion dollars with all 3 Characters, using only the LCN Stock Market is good enough. When all is said and done, you will have over 500 Million dollars with all 3 Characters which is more than enough to buy all 15 Properties for *200%* Completion which I am going for in my Save File!
You can use the LCN Stock Market TWICE which I show in this Video. I use the 42 Million I got from "The Big Score" and turn it into 77 Million, followed by over 300 Million on all 3 Characters! The "Debonaire" Stock will rise to rough 80% and this is when you want to buy it all back which I show in the Video. The "Redwoods" Stock will rise to roughly 300% and this is when you want to buy it all back which I show in the Video, as well. The Redwoods Stock is the bulk of where your money will come from! As you can see in the Video, you just sleep to progress time and check the Stock Market until they rise to 80% and 300% for those respective Stocks and that's all. Pretty simple stuff.
If you're on Version 1.00, you likely know of the "Safehouse Garage Bug" where your Vehicles can vanish. Well, in the Video, you will see me put a GPS Waypoint on the Strip Club and then drive SORT OF CLOSE to it as Michael. I am doing this in order to prevent Trevor from spawning there and deleting my Lustered/EC Green Packer (with Metallic Candy Red Luster) which has happened to me twice already, one of those times being right before recording this Video. I switched to Trevor, he was a drunk stupid douche at the Strip Club and from getting this Switch Event as Trevor, the game deleted my Packer forcing me to reload and do all of this over again.
With that said, I am glad I did all of it over again. Why? Because as you can see in this Video, I obtained the *RARE* Cuban 800 with Trevor from his Switch Event and now have that in my Save File forever! There is only one SPECIAL Plane in all of GTA V (EC Velum from Epsilon which I already recorded), so having gotten lucky to get this *RARE* Cuban 800 was pretty cool!
The annoying rubber banding Cops got in the way later in the Video as usual when switch to Trevor and getting the Switch Event. From waiting a bit of time, you saw how the Stock dropped a bit, so he didn't get as much money as Franklin and Michael, but it's still over 300 Million dollars!
