GTA V Special Vehicle Guide: Lustered/UP (Blank) Mesa (3 of 3)
In this Video, I show how to obtain the Lustered/UP (Blank) Mesa from "Pack Man." After I obtain it, I reload the Save and show that it's still there.
The reason why this is obtainable on PS3 and Xbox360 ONLY is due to the fact that UP (Blank) does NOT EXIST on Next Gen. Not only that, but Blank Plates don't even exist on PS3 and Xbox360 if you have Patches installed. This Mesa only has a Blank Plate if and only if you meet these conditions! However, on Patched Old Gen or New Gen, it will be a Lustered Mesa, just with Random Plates!
Unlike IV, TLaD, and TBoGT, Lusters behave MUCH differently in V. You can NOT just reload your Save and try again for a different Luster. Instead, you must approach different Strategies to change Lusters. For this Mesa, you must pass Pack Man and don't switch to Trevor just yet. I advise you to save the Game right now after Mission Pass, you'll understand why in a moment. After you save, you now need to see some Mesas on the Street on the Map. Sit inside one of them and then switch to Trevor. In Trevor's Switch Event there will be a Mesa nearby, but now with different Colors! If you couldn't find a Mesa in time or the Mesa has no Special Lusters, reload the Save and try again. I suggest immediately rushing to the Wind Farm and steal a Mesa from the Off-Road Race Event there, Mesas always spawn there, and then get inside one of them, and then switch! You first need a Mesa for the Luster to be changed, but it's a play of Luck if you'll get a SPECIAL Luster on it...
It's recommended to get this Lustered/UP Mesa from Complications, instead of the other two, since the other two have a more difficult and barely functioning Lustering Trick. This is due to the fact that no matter how long you play as Michael after Complications is passed, switching to Franklin always gives you the Switch Event with Franklin talking to Lamar on the Phone. From Hood Safari, it's much more unstable. From Pack Man, it's not as unstable as in Hood Safari, but it's not as reliable as from Complications.
This also has the PP and BTS Properties, but they're not Special on the Mesa. You might see it with weird Green Windows sometimes, but that's not Special.
Primary Color: Metallic Black (Body Color)
Secondary Color: Metallic Black (Invisible)
Wheel Color: Alloy
Special Lusters: Worn Sea Wash and Worn Honey Beige
Lusters That Are NOT Special: Metallic Black Steal, Metallic White, Metallic Sunrise Orange, Metallic Graceful Red, Metallic Surf Blue, Metallic Sun Bleeched Sand, Metallic Blue Silver, Metallic Gasoline Blue Green, Metallic Mariner Blue, Metallic Beach Sand, Metallic Black, Metallic Silver

Once again unlike IV, TLaD, and TBoGT, MOST Lusters are NOT going to be special in V. So that means if this Mesa would interest you, you'd want to surely get one of the SPECIAL Lusters that can spawn on this Mesa. However, to know the exact Luster, you would have to boot your Save up in a Save Editor to check the Colors you get to know if it's truly special or not in terms of the Luster!
A Luster is a Color in which overlaps the Base Color and can be seen when I move the camera angle around in sunlight. Some Lusters are better seen at night while some are better seen in daylight and there is even some Lusters, depending on the Base Color of the Vehicle, that are very faint and you'll hardly be able to see them.
