I use a G27 brake spring for my TH8 RS in handbrake / ebrake mode. A GTEye spring is a good alternative and you don't need to buy a G27 :)

For those not familiar with the GTEYE, it's a brake spring replacement for the Logitech G25 and G27 pedals.
