GTX 480 SLI Battlefield 4 performance, Will it play ?
This is a Video showing of the performance of Battlefield 4 running with a pair of old GTX 480's. I ask the question "will it play?" because lets face it 1.5GB of Vram is hardly ideal these days, especially for the latest games. As some people like me still have an ageing pair of power hungry GTX 480's, or maybe they just have one and are thinking about adding a second. This video will give you a little look at what you can expect when playing battlefield 4 at 1920x1080 at ultra settings with no AA. The reason I use no AA is to keep the Vram usage down as 1.5GB is very much on the low side. despite that the game still runs surprisingly well and provides more than a decent gaming performance. I decided to add a water block to one of my cards as I couldn't deal with two of these fiery monsters screaming at me lol. Overall their is life still in these old cards, and if you own 1 GTX 480, picking up a second for cheap mite give you a year or two more before your next upgrade. I hope you enjoy the video
