GTX 960 -- Fallout 4 -- Best Settings for 1440p
That's right, Fallout 4 is actually playable with a GTX 960, at 1440p. (as long as you don't mind extended areas being played at 30fps)
These settings were chosen to keep the most eye candy, while keeping the "best" frame rate I could while doing that. I normally advocate for higher frame rate over eye candy, but in this game, you kind of need as much eye candy as you can get. FYI, picking the "High" preset causes a lot of pop-in, because it greatly slides down some of the sliders affecting distance.
Settings are shown at the end of the video. I used Nvidia's DSR for this video. The game actually looks and feels better on a native 1440p monitor than what is shown here.
