Only turning three settings down, one notch each, can keep the game in the 40's to 70's for FPS. Settings shown at the end. This is actually Nvidia DSR 1440p, but it's pretty close to native 1440p. Native 1440p looks and feels a little better. Settings shown at the end of the video.

Note: This was recorded on a 60hz / 1080p monitor. I also tested it on a 144hz / 1080p monitor, and it was "almost" as good as native 1440p on the 144hz / 1080p monitor. I could tell the difference, but it was pretty good.
