I doubt that the game is loading all of the assets, but man, this looks good and plays well. I switched the graphics to the Ultra preset, at the end, to show that the computer is using less VRAM, when I switch to Ultra, from Nightmare. I still don't know if all of the assets are really loading into "Nightmare" quality, but the game is definitely using more VRAM, when I select it. On a high refresh rate monitor like the XL2430T, this looks and plays incredibly. ***One note, though... Sometimes, the game plays at 21fps and smears very badly. I have to restart the game, when that happens. My hunch is that the game actually does try to load all of the assets, when that happens. Or Nightmare settings are just not stable, with less than 4.5GB of VRAM.
