Guide to Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector Company Captain Difficulty
248I truly believe that Company Captain is the proper way to play this game.
The balancing for higher difficulty is very unique. Instead of a massive stat buff like most other games do; the AI gets a massive reinforcements boost, decent but not overwhelming stat improvement, while your resources are limited and cost of upgrades are increased. This creates a truly excellent experience, where you feel like you are fighting an endless tide of alien monsters, with a handful of super soldiers and coming out triumphant from a very harrowing experience. Much better experience than most games where it feels like you had to use a min-max build and AI exploit to conqueror a pseudo difficulty curve.
All builds are viable with slight adjust and games where you can pursue experimentation and build-diversity at higher difficulties are a most welcoming experience. I encourage everyone to try it.
