Guild Wars 2: Supports Need Some HELP (The Utility Spam Problem)
549Alright we need to talk about the state of SUPPORTS in Guild Wars 2. There's been a LOT of updates to classes over the last year and I think it's all moving in a generally positive direction!
However as a result of these growing pains, some Support builds have been stuck in an awkward limbo - where important boons have been slapped onto Utilities to make the builds competitive.
I find this to be a problem, as there's a distinct lack of synergy here that could otherwise be used to create incredibly fun Support playstyles. It all makes Guild Wars 2's combat and buildcraft very 1-dimensional in an otherwise mechanically interesting game! Hope ArenaNet take a closer look at these specs in the near future.
