A video featuring several events, mostly those the new ones but also the last three champions of the Breach that I did not recover battles with. Keep in mind this was recorded during the Tangled Paths patch so the content is subject to change, likely tomorrow since that's when we're getting the next patch lol...the map is most likely going to expand just like the Dry Top.

:22-Help Solus collect plant material for his oil processors. This event is eh, just a lot of tendril fighting. I had to cut since I was basically the only one doing it up until the end lol. It's not exciting.

4:10-Protect Solus's oil processors. This event can be nasty but luckily it scales. If you've got tons of people you may see Elites Veterans here. Not too bad though, typically did it with 2-3 people. The reward is anyone being able to put on the Mechanical Devourer Suit for twenty minutes(you can refresh the buff by coming back if need be though).

11:40-Champion Modrem Wolf. An event that happens during timeout, I was using the Devourer Suit for fun here. I kinda enjoyed it but missed having healing abilities lol. But yeah, Champions also spawn during the downtime too, there's more than just the wolf.

13:35-Champion Mordrem Husk Copper. This one is pretty simple but it appears conditions may be the way to go to really hurt him faster. Also the bubbles DO work differently than the Teragriff fight, don't blow them up near the boss.

17:30-Champion Mordrem Teragriff Silver and Champion Mordrem Teragriff Gold. These guys are a duo and are annoying. Considered the hardest of the Champions. The number one thing is don't attack the bubbles until one of the Champions is nearby it. Once they are do so and they'll be hit with a debuff and stunned. You need to do this since if they are together they'll hurt more AND ignore the effect of gas bubbles. That and they love to constantly run around so stunning them gives you time to hit them.

20:10-Tangled Labyrinth event. This one I didn't really show much of since I'm not great at and it's more fun with other people. It's like Pac Man except you're running around trying to collect the essences while dodging Modrem Wolfs that will one shot you. You grab the seed looking things and it changes you into a form that can stun the wolves and can't be one-shot until it runs out. The goal is to get enough essences to make keys to open the pods/chests basically.

But yeah, the way it works is somewhat neat in concept. At first you have to capture and hold these four fortresses, building them up by insuring the Pact bulls reach their destinations, gathering supplies to repair broken walls, defeating Modrem in the area, etc. Once the Pact is prepared for an Assault the Breach begins.

The Breach is where you all have to defeat 5 champions of Modremoth in order to succeed. Failure to do so means the Pact fails, the fortresses become overrun and you have to get out before the poison slowly kills you and you have to wait 17 minutes. If you succeed you get rewards but still have to wait 17 minutes. HOWEVER now there are events in the Labyrinth that happen during the timeout regardless of failure or victory! It can be amusing but...I dunno it's more fun when more people are around and if you may want to change your build up a bit so you'll have lots of speed boosting/mobility/stealth skills.

The other problem with the legends is how...they can result in the defense events failing since the zerg goes for the legendary instead. I've seen lots of arguments break out in map chat over this it's really sad. A-Net should just have included the legendaries as part of the events so killing them would actually help with the defense. Sometimes they even are around when the Breach is happening too which stinks.

I do really like the Teragriffs though, pretty cool design. Lol just don't let yourself be overwhelmed by too many of them, their charging attacks can be obnoxious if multiples are around. One time our fort got overwhelmed by them, it was no fun.

So overall, not a bad concept, Tangled Paths didn't expand the map as much as people wanted but I imagine come Tuesday we'll get something bigger and better after the Breach.

Also, fix the stupid glitches that cause you to die sometimes when going Underground. At first I thought jumping was what caused it but then I died randomly when going down there too, even when I was not recording I just randomly died I don't understand, jumping or not jumping doesn't seem to change it. If Modrem are attacking a fort and the Breach begins they'll automatically take over the fort and you'll probably die for sure when going underground as well. Waypoints would REALLY be nice too since if you die you have to take a long walk of shame and probably not be able to resume fighting the champion you were at.
