So a few things to mention in this video. First off, Sea of Sorrows didn't work out. Our original intention was to establish a NA presence that could compete with the top servers while utilizing the oceanic presence that already existed. However, upon working with them on the server, showing them our videos, etc, we quickly found out that the objective of the oceanic presence didn't quite match what we'd thought it did, nor would we be able to accomplish the numbers required to make the server turn around on the NA side.

Therefore, while server transfers remain free, we polled our members to find out what aspects of WvW interest the majority of us the most. Using the numbers we pulled, we've decided to find a server that already closely matched those interests. The server we have since moved to is Sanctum of Rall. Not only did the WvW population on the server closely resemble our own, but we already had a sister guild on the server that Defiance used to have close ties with. While we've stepped down a tier in the server standings with this move, our initial impression of the server is very positive. Low queue times, and people are usually doing something in every map whether a commander is there or not.

And so that brings me to this video. It's one of our optional guild WvW days, so our turnout wasn't spectacular. Because of this, we decided to take a map that we had little to no standing in and bust in, guns blazing so to speak. It ended up being a perfect example of what a small number of people can do against a larger number, provided strategic placement of siege weaponry, and the defense thereof. In the end, we managed to gain control of a tower, a keep, three supply camps, and put ourselves in position to place extreme pressure on another tower, as well as the garrison. Overall, it was a very successful, if a little slow, night.
