Guilty Gear Strive - Ky - This is what I consider disgusting in this game
Too many situational conversions. Sometimes you spend meter and the wall breaks immediately after. Sometimes you too far. Sometimes you too close and wall-bounce / pushback gets in the way. I can appreciate character specific and situational stuff, but not to this extend. Add to this difference between small and big characters and you get Strive.
Midscreen conversions like 6h CH that require microdash vs certain characters, then stop working after you take few steps closer to the wall, then work again. DP's that launch opponent in a shock state to different height depending on what button you challenged. Counterhit in general messing up certain conversions vs certain light characters and then working fine on other light characters. All in all it's like the game wants to be easier execution-wise, but accomplishes completely the opposite, especially for Ky.
