I talk about Guilty Gear’s Testament, the so-called controversy behind the character’s gender (how sad) and shed light on X-gender identity in Japan; it’s similar to the words non-binary or genderqueer in English.

I decided to touch on this since this was discussed from a Western perspective. It’s funny though, since this is a Japanese game. Not many people covered this from a Japanese perspective, where the character was always androgynous/bigender and later agender in Guilty Gear Strive. Gender is seen differently in Japan, so I considered this with my wording. It also intrigued me since I was unaware of this until I researched.
And, if you didn’t realise my stance: bigots aren’t welcome here!
