27This gun-toting robot is on the move to beat up some nasty lizard. See if you can finish all of his mission in this simple yet challenging platform-based shooting game called GunBot. What you must do here is enter each level and eliminate all the lizard monsters. Get to the exit to complete the level. The game features blue stars that can help GunBot gain experience points and level up. You will get new skills when GunBot reaches certain levels. Collect the orbs too so you can purchase new guns for your character. The game also features achievements that you can unlock.
Overview
Gunbot is a fun and action packed shooting where you need to control a robot and battle the enemies in each level, you need to seek out and battle Grankomeau and save the entire universe in the process, it won't be that easy though as Grankomeau has a lot of henchmen, all of whom are bent of stopping you on your tracks or killing you altogether, no worries mate as the game offers you a lot of weapons and other perks that you can use in your adventure, killing the enemies will reward you with experience points which allows your character to level up and gain special abilities like double jumps and firebombs, but besides experience points, you will also receive money for every enemy you kill, which can later be used to buy an assortment of guns and other items at the shop, make sure to buy the more powerful ones as it will make it a lot easier for you to defeat the enemies, there are also 3 worlds available for you to traverse in the game, and each world features a boss battle for you test your skills, and if you're good enough, you just might come face to face with Grankomeau at the end of the game, so come on and play the game, see if you have enough skills to defeat the enemies and save the universe here in Gunbot.
Graphics and Sound
Gunbot has very nice cartoony graphics, character designs are quite pretty and highly detailed, environments are cool too, structures are detailed and landscapes are lush and vivid, although there isn't much contrast in colors, the game still looked pretty to me as everything is nicely laid out, animations are pretty smooth by the way, which makes controlling the character quite exciting and fun, music and sounds are cool too, although there is nothing extraordinary when it comes to music and sound, there's nothing bad either, special effects are also quite simple here, nothing fabulous but somehow, the game still managed to look pretty and nice, overall, the game has very simple graphics, but designs and presentations made it rather look pretty all throughout.
Gameplay
Gunbot is primarily a shooter and your objective in every level is to basically kill the enemies you will encounter along the way and reach the end of the level alive, the enemies in the game are quite easy to kill, especially if you have already equipped the stronger weapons, just don't get too close and you'll be just fine, the bosses are another story though, they are quite tougher and harder to kill, a tough nut to crack so to speak, but if you unload enough firepower and dodge its attacks precisely, you'll get over it in no time, there are also some stars to be collected in every level, get them all for a money bonus which will make it easier for you to save up on cash and buy the cooler weapons faster, controls are simple and easy, you use the standard WASD keys to move the character and the mouse to fire at your enemies.
Features
Gunbot features an action packed adventure, there are 3 worlds for you to explore and each one containing multiple levels for you to battle the enemies, there are also a variety of weapons available, each one unique and truly devastating against the enemies, and it has simple controls to make the game more fun to play.
Conclusion
Gunbot is quite fun and challenging, but the challenges it offers are moderate, this is great for novice players and children alike, check it out and have fun shooting the enemies.
