Actually, it's a toss-up clone DLC. It's as standard as standard can be, but it has its pros over Johnny Ridden's HM Zaku II. Mainly, it's machine gun (MG) has much better tracking than Johnny's which is probably the worst MG in the game. It has a basic assist where Johnny has his special movement, though Shin's assist is very useful for confirming bazooka and downing opponents. Also Shin throws his crackers/grenades more vertically and can aim them slightly left or right, which is useful for interception at further ranges than Johnny and can catch people trying to approach you at closer ranges (though it requires good guessing). Overall the crackers still aren't impressive, but they do their job.

Because of Johnny's limited ranged options and his special movement, he tends to act more as a pocket melee suit where Shin is more inclined to poke and annoy from the back. Though recent tier lists put Shin above Johnny, they're both still B tier 2k's and pretty mediocre. That being said, Johnny is free where Shin, as a "clone", is only cheap.

Just gimme Char's Zaku II from Maxi Boost bamco. That's probably half the reason I keep coming back to this guy (and to a lesser extent, Johnny).
