Probably the only DLC I've been disappointed in, if only because I was expecting to like it so much. Sure it's much more standard than Char's Gelgoog, but it's also a lot less rewarding. Considering the charge time on CSa, it's pretty weak, though it moves fast and downs. Having access to the sword toss on AC is a pretty good thing, and it's stronger than CSa and stuns to boot (though harder to hit from different angles since it doesn't arc). It's as strong as Char's level 2 naganata throw, and it recharges quickly making it a good tool to help out the weak ranged game of the Gelgoog. That along with the boomerang/naganata gives the suit a bit more anti-ham options than Char's, but the Rick Dom assist is generic and completely overshadowed by Lalah.

Overall I guess being standard was a bad thing. Compared to Char's Gelgoog where managing CSa and CSb leads to some satisfying matches, landing Gato's tools isn't really anything too hard or enjoyable honestly. I come back to it every once every blue moon so maybe that'll change once I re-realize that both Gelgoog's ranged options are really weak damage-wise and start going yolo/ham with melee, the NA special. All that being said, the PUNCH behind the CSa is glorious.
