Rie Tanaka (田中理恵, Tanaka Rie) voices and sings as Lacus Clyne (ラクス・クライン) & Meer Campbell (ミーア・キャンベル) in the 2002-2004 Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (機動戦士ガンダムSEED) and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny (機動戦士ガンダムSEED DESTINY) TV anime series (TVアニメシリーズ). Kajiura Yuki (梶浦由記) wrote the lyrics and composed the music for the Lacus Clyne insert songs (挿入歌) sung by Tanaka in the Gundam SEED series (ガンダムSEEDシリーズ). Tanaka will reprise her role as Lacus Clyne in a Mobile Suit Gundam SEED theatrical film (劇場版 機動戦士ガンダムSEED). Tanaka also dubs in Japanese Lisa (リサ) in Genshin Impact's (原神).
Along with main composer Shiina Gō (real name, 椎名豪, Shiina Masaru), Kajiura has written music for the massive hits Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (鬼滅の刃, Kimetsu no Yaiba, lit. "Blade of Demon Destruction") anime TV series (2019) and anime film (2020), based on the now finished, super popular manga of the same name, which ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump.

As the character designer of the Neptunia and Date A Live game series, Tsunako designed Tanaka Rie's character Neptune/Purple Heart, the main character in the Neptunia game series.
