Gungrave (2002, Sony PlayStation 2) Gameplay Footage with No Audio Commentary

One of my all-time favorite PlayStation 2 (PS2) games has got to be Gungrave. I know it’s not the classic PS2 game choice that gamers make but something about this game always stuck with me. I also enjoyed the second one, Gungrave: Overdose, but it feels like it lost the weight of the character. Something about the clunky controls just made sense at the time. This is a third person action shooter with character design from Yasuhiro Nightow (the Trigun guy). I’ve been testing the video quality of my PS2 gameplay using a fairly cheap PS2 to HDMI converter as well as trying out some component to HDMI so I can run it through my elgato but I keep getting varying levels of success. The issues are usually the sound glitching out or the video periodically blacking out. Regardless, it’s been a long time since I fired up my PS2 so I figured once I had some settings I liked I would revisit one of my favorite games. Regardless, I plan on also playing through Gungrave: Overdose as well as eventually playing through Gungrave VR. Maybe Gungrave VR will be my chance to test out how to capture some VR footage.
