Finally got to Level 30, and had enough Munitions to recruit Riot units into my army. The advantage of recruited units over rented units is that you can equip Perks and earn Medals to make them better. The Riot units should make stronger Nightmare rated opponent bases a little bit easier to tackle as they are great shield units for rest of your units as they take up the front.
