Part 3 of a NG playthrough of Gunvalkyrie. Not too rough, but this level has a few tricks up its sleeve. A welcome change of pace after Civ Base 1.

This level has a pretty heavy focus on Leavatains, and that focus definitely changes how you approach encounters. Additionally, it introduces those aerial spore cloud enemies that are really unpleasant to fight due to wonky hitboxes and lock-on immunity.

Valley 2's also unique because the Frekiheims are integral to getting across-the-board S-ranks in all parameters. You get an abundance of time for an S-rank, but rushing instead of letting the 'Heims spawn more enemies will net you a B or even C for kills. I didn't manage that this time, but still got an S-rank overall. On top of that, with Saburouta, it's more practical to float around into a high boost combo before attacking than firing nonstop on this level for your tech *and* time scores, so that's definitely the way to go here.

While the level layout's straightforward, multi-map introduction aside, there's a trick I didn't take advantage of on this run. As Saburouta or Kelly-2/3, you are capable of jumping over the wall behind the spawn and tackling the level in reverse. However, I don't see a practical purpose for this, so I just took the level on normally.
