If you are like me and you actually pay attention to the world of Pokemon GO then you already knew that gyms would be going down shortly after the Solstices Event is over. However there have been some rumors going around that they gyms would be disabled earlier than that and of course the rumors didn't come true because they were false. There is also a pretty much constant flurry of videos coming out from all the major youtubers about the gym rework coming after the event is over. I already had that news on my channel over a week ago when it was announced on their official blog so I haven't really considered this to be news. However as we get closer to the time and now that Niantic has announced the official date that gyms will be disabled there is a lot of activity so I wanted to address some of the rumors and the click bait since it's happening a lot right now.
