It's a video game about MMORPG players in a virtual world called "The World".

The story is centralized around Haseo, an Adept Rogue Player Killer Killer (PKK) who is in search of Tri-Edge for perma-killing a friend of his.

As a twist of fate, Haseo's player happens to be the same player who controls Sora, the asshole Player Killer from .Hack//Sign who lost his memories of playing the game as a Twin Blade character. He then created a new account with Haseo as his new main.

This demo is pretty much heavy on the cutscenes, with a little tutorial on how the game works. Eventually our protagonist gets data drained to level 1 to setup the course of the story, and of course, for us players to grind the character.

A video game within a video game. Should we call that #Gameception? Doesn't Sword Art Online has the same premise?
