You can hate the graphics, you can hate the story, you can hate the company that made it, you can hate developers, you can hate everyone (and looking around, there's a whole lot of low-lifes, so it's not like it's hard to do...) but you can't deny that this game is fast, furious, and action-packed.

I don't 100% agree with some of the mechanics, and a few things could be improved, but there is a whole lot to like about the game, more so than not. One of those things is the fast pace. One thing becomes clear as I am getting the videos ready for this game: the action is everywhere and it just keeps coming, in town or in the field. And then I must always put another plug in for how dark and ominous the game is.

You couldn't want for better difficulty and challenge, too. My characters are levelled, obviously. That would be because I took all kinds of liberties with my guys in the first game and played it to death. I actually made videos of it, but those are elsewhere.

My guys will make the action look easy due to their levels; and yet you there is still some difficulty to go around. I was actually surprised to find that there was still a challenge and a threat in these early stages of the game, my levels such as they are.

And you'll notice I provided the best equips that could be come by, minus what can no doubt be hunted and paid a lot for in shops. Just another incentive to play the levels to death. As if that were the only reason, and not even considering how easy those levels come. With randomized dungeons and a literally infinite capacity for rolling them up, all accessible from one hub or another, there is much to do, and all of it fast and furious.

The truth is there aren't a lot of games quite like these and that is a shame. There are many good qualities to this game. And the story, while not maybe completely mind-blowing, is still quite good, and definitely compelling.
