Hacknet: Garry's Mod - Progress Showcase
16This is an updated Showcase of my Hacknet project. A lot of progress has been made since the last video, so I decided to make another one showing off almost every major feature in the gamemode so far.
Hacknet is an immersive, terminal-based hacking simulator for Garry's Mod. Based on Matt Trobbiani's standalone game, identically named "Hacknet", this gamemode attempts to recreate the original game's look and feel along with all of its features and quirks as best as it can, while optimizing and altering it to suit a dynamic, fun, and engaging multiplayer environment.
The goal of this project is to create a gamemode that resembles the game Hacknet as closely as possible and introduce a dynamic player-driven multiplayer world.
Short Disclaimer: The music in the video was added during editing for the purposes of this showcase (hence why the visualizer doesn't match the beat); the in-game music will be from Hacknet and Hacknet: Labyrinths.
