Hades from Walmart or better? | Is it actually fun? | SWORN DEMO

SWORN another indie game published by Team 17 and made by Windwalk games, there's nothing much to be said about the game other than it really reminds me of Hades and Cult of the Lamb, just a simple Rougelike game where you keep going and going to unlock more options and more story. Although it the current Demo, there really isn't much of a story to really talk about it.
Honestly speaking I actually can't wait to see where the story goes, I'm all in for the Arturian Legend stuff, I love Kinghts of the Round and all that King Arthur stuff. The game itself isn't half bad, although it is still a Demo so there really wasn't much to see, although from what we did manage to play and see, the game is really just Hades but not as good, at this point just play Hades or like I said Cult of the Lamb, hopefully the full game changes my view on that.
Here are my thoughts on the game:
Pros:
- There's 4 different characters that you get to play, all with different styles of play.
- There's 4 weapons each character also with different playstyles which makes it a total of 16 different playstyles that you get to choose from.
- Arturian Legend stories are usually great, I love it, especially if there's going to be a lot of gore and violence which this game feels like it's going in that direction so far.
- Gameplay is simple and fun, there's a lot of upgrades mid run.
- Artstyle is neat so far, I love the look of it, I just want to see more stage designs.
Cons:
- The combat feels stiff when compared to similar games like Hades and Cult of the Lamb.
- The map designs, atleast the 2 maps that we get to play was very dull and uninspired, I wanna see more Arturian Legend kind of designs.
- Some of the upgrades are just too OP, you can literally stunlock a boss with the stagger build and they never get to play the game.
- It's trying too much to be like Hades, which I guess isn't bad, but I feel like they gotta try and be better.
The game is honestly just meh at this point. It's not great but it's not that bad either. The main problem is that there is just better games to play that is pretty much the same like Hades and Cult of the Lamb, which is more polished and just played better. Hopefully the full release changes my mind about that.
SWORN is simply OK, there's better games to play, that does the same thing better.
