Warning for spoilers of the end game for Hades II version 0.93884. This video contains the final boss fight vs. Chronos, Titan of Time. For my build, I'm using the Aspect of Moros for the Umbral Flames.

The text for this aspect currently reads:

"Your Attacks linger for 6 seconds, and explode in a blast if struck by your Specials"

This aspect, plus the Tranquil Gain ability, which quickly recharged my MP pool, allowed me to throw out a ton of damage. Using a bunch of MP then let me cast Phase Shift, slowing down the battle to make it a bit more manageable in places.

I was able to chew through Chronos' HP, taking big bites when I could land a string of attacks and then detonate then with my specials as I ran around.

One boss health bar down, and we were whisked away to a clock face for the final fight.

I really like this boss battle. It is challenging and forces you a move around the arena a bit. With this build, I was still able to get some damage off on the go and then relocate while using the special to blow up any attack balloons as I dashed around.

Thankfully, I had enough charges of Death Defiance to make it through the final phase of the fight, and defeated Chronos for the first time. Woo!

I had a ton of fun playing Hades (1) on my Switch and have been really enjoying what I have seen of Hades II on Early Access. It has been running great on my Deck, but I've mostly been playing on PC after my daily Valheim session.

I can't wait to keep exploring what has unlocked after defeating Chronos. I am really excited about what I've seen so far and am looking forward to 1.0.
