The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.

This is a combat video with death, sneaky recovery, and magic fireballs. Recording was made during patch 0.218.17.

So, I've had it with this tower.

After my escape the other night, I came back to find the tower nearly destroyed. I'm sure the Valkyrie started to take some shots after seeing me up top.

Anyway, I was doing okay until I drew the attention of too many asksvin. One or two would have been okay, but three was too many with the Valkyrie shooting fireballs as well. I made a poor pathing decision and got booped by two mean dogs before the Valkyrie got the final hit.

I ate and geared up for the return journey. But I decided to be a bit sneaky and was able to recover portal materials and a bit of my gear.

I remade the portal and just barely escaped the Valkyrie. After a quick gear swap and inventory cleaning, it was back to the Ash to fight the Valkyrie.

The staff of embers worked well, I just need to aim better and stop dying.

This tower has been the worst place, so many deaths nearby.
