2Half-Life 2: Episode 2 - Looking around is forbidden
My attempt at playing through the entire HL2:EP2 series without ever looking around using the mouse or whatever input methods you could think of.
This is a segmented run, not aiming for speed, but merely to get through. Each video starts where the last one left off. If you see any weird cuts, it's because of Source's save stutter. Similarly, some graphical errors occur due to reloading saves.

Whew, finally it's done! (Although I'll still upload the last chapter, it isn't anything exciting...)
So what happened here... We start with the angle of the previous chapter's end - this will be important later on.
A bunch of cutscene later, it's time for some combat. Kind of awkward with that angle, so I just run past most enemies instead.
Grenade jump over a steam valve because it's far easier than trying to turn it off with all the hunters.
After another huge cutscene, we get to the strider battle. Well, almost. First there's a tutorial on how to use the Magnusson Devices.
That's why this dumb angle was needed - to be able to get through this tutorial. Magnussons break whenever they touch anything.
Anything except the strider's body. With a lot of luck and the right angle, we can bounce the Magnusson to hit the strider and blow it up!
Luckily, the strider battle itself is made far easier by giving access to the car. The routine is basically the same the entire way through:
Kill all hunters, ram something with the car to get an upwards pitch, get the Magnusson off the car's rack and blow up a strider.
Do that until all striders are dead and you win! (Except for the last one. I killed it "manually" because I didn't feel like fetching another Magnusson for him.)
The final fight alone took 1 hour to record (which turned into 17 minutes of video footage), but it was a lot of fun so I really don't mind.
