Once you open this "Half-Life 2 Smod Redux 8.rar" archive, you will see in it "Half-Life 2 Smod Redux 8" folder. Extract it, for example, to your Desktop. Once you have extracted "Half-Life 2 Smod Redux 8" folder to your Desktop, open it. You will see here ( in "Half-Life 2 Smod Redux 8" folder ) "hl2.bat" file. Double left-click on it. Play!!!
