* Description *

Ladder is a Half-Life 2 MOD created by Erik Kempen that requires Half-Life 2, Episode One & Episode Two to play, because the mod features all the enemies that are discovered in Half-Life until Episode Two. You start in the middle of the buildings, and there is a tower in front of you. To start the mod, you have to kill or trap the grub that is lying on the ground at the center. Once killed, the Ladder begins, and exactly 28 waves and a bonus wave will appear during your time at that place. I think this mod is a very good one, I hope it will receive well. It's simple, there are no crashes, even if the performance can be much better, and the enemies are well-placed. Also, the bonus wave features 2 waves: A never-ending Combine wave (Not recommended) or an Endless Zombie wave. Zombie is much funnier! O and by the way, there is no gravity gun at all. Have fun!

* Mod info *

PROS:
- Nice map, many locations in the buildings and easy walking.
- Good enemies, smart placed, enough to fight for a good time. Many variations.
- Unlimited ammo, finally a mod that allows it!
- You can call in help with batteries, isn't that great?
- Good balance between waves, also pause after 10 waves, very nice.
- Good health and armor balance during the entire mod.
- 10.1mb HDD Space, so nothing to worry about!

CONS
- A very heavy mod, even with my specs I get a 47 FPS, but this is in relation with the next point:
- Console is constantly giving me: Too many vertex format changes in frame, whole world not rendered (This causes lagg and drop of FPS no matter what specs).
- Strider at the end is simply overpowered... I never made it once alive without Buddha mode...
