(English below) Half-Life: Extended, Day One, es la demo de un ambicioso mod para Half-Life creado por los fans de Extended Studios que reimagina la campaña del juego con mapas extendidos y más detallados. Sería algo así como Black Mesa, es decir, como un remake, pero en el motor original. Me ha parecido muy bueno, reconoces todo pero a la vez es diferente, particularmente me encantan estos mods que nos ofrecen una visión diferente de lo que ya conocemos. Ojalá lo veamos completado algún día.
En este gameplay he tratado de jugar la demo entera, excepto el tutorial, pero al llegar al ascensor que nos lleva a la superficie por primera vez, este vuelve a bajar antes de llegar, y me deja encerrado abajo, como se puede ver al final del vídeo. Supongo que es un bug, no creo que la demo acabe así. De todas formas, debo haber quedado casi al final, si no recuerdo mal, porque lo de "Day One" hace referencia a la demo extendida que tuvo Half-Life, que se distribuyó con algunas tarjetas gráficas (y que yo jugué en su día porque vino con mi Voodoo Banshee, fue lo que me vendió el juego, de hecho).

In this gameplay I have tried to play the entire demo, except the tutorial, but when reaching the elevator that takes us to the surface for the first time, it goes back down and leaves me locked below, as you can see at the end of the video. I guess it's a bug, I don't think the demo ends like that. Anyway, it was probably almost the end, if I remember correctly, because the “Day One” refers to the extended demo that Half-Life had, which was distributed with some graphics cards (and that I played back in the day because it came with my Voodoo Banshee, in fact that was what sold me the game).
