0https://www.moddb.com/mods/operation-nova ...And now time to me to talk about a mod that I vaguely remember back in the late 2000's, The mod in question was considered lost for a time until a download was made in 2019 on moddb, The mod dropped on September 4rth 2008 and is by Ben Greenwood, It features professional voice acting and is considered a spin-off of events during "On A Rail".
The mod places you in control of a Janitor named John Skinner who is wearing a H.E.V. suit when the military attacks the area we are working at, This mod was a surprise because it uses some things that were not expected in mods at the time, You are against a time limit to stop the military from using a surface to air missile launcher to destroy the rocket that Gordon Freeman has launched at the end of "On A Rail", The time limits are quite unfair at times because you'll be forced to run through areas choked with human grunts, Some puzzles make no sense as well, I like challenge like others but...This mod brings back painful memories of when I thought it was a mod that was impossible to finish, I can't forgive time limits that require pinpoint accuracy.
