A "Half-Life from parallel universe" styled add-on. You will see impressive views of Xen and Black Mesa, but remember: they are not like the ones in original game.
Xen is attempted to be less alien and more relatable by addition of mushrooms, trees.
There is emphasis on destruction with pre-animated debris, a technology that actually existed in the 90s and was used on some levels of Kingpin: Life of Crime, for example. Other interesting scenes with new animations present too. Tank boss will actually ride into the location!
A lot of thought was put into variety and decorations of visuals and gameplay. There are rays of light, river, caves and flying islands, strange equipment. Enemies are placed in a way that puts your arsenal to heavy use. Weapon sounds are remade to be more juicy. There's even a moment where you have to use a barnacle to advance.
