Half-Life is an FPS game made by Valve originally published in 1998 for PC. It was recreated as Half-Life: Source in 2004, which is the version I'm playing in this series. In Half-Life, you assume the roll of Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist, who must fight his way out of Black Mesa research facility, defeating strange aliens and military personnel along the way. There are many weapons you can use in this game such as a crowbar, guns, grenades, and even a crossbow. Half-Life is available on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux for $9.99. It's also available for PS2 for around $10. Half-Life: Source is available on Steam for PC and Mac for $9.99.
