Halo 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Bungie and published by Xbox Game Studios. It's a sequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, and the second entry to Bungie's Halo Trilogy, and the overall second entry in the Halo franchise. Much like its predecessor, Halo 2 received critical acclaim, becoming known as one of the best games ever made. The story centers on the celebrated hero of the UNSC, Master Chief, and the shamed former-commander of the Covenant airship, who would later become the Arbiter. As the war between humans, Covenants and the Flood continues, Master Chief and the Arbiter are eventually forced to work together when the latter learned the truth of Halo.

This gameplay series, alongside the other two entries, are presented using the Steam release of Halo: Master Chief Collection. The classic graphics and audio for both Halo 1 and 2 are used for not just consistency with Halo 3, but also to provide some delicious nostalgia for those who had played the games from the early to mid 2000s. However, that means there might be some visual and audio hiccups throughout the gameplay, especially with Halo 2, which will use the original cutscenes instead of the phenomenal Blur Studios recreations of the cutscenes.

For those who want to play this game on PC, Halo: Master Chief Collection is available on Steam. The Master Chief Collection also lets you play Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4.
