Halo 4 SWAT & GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP
15It's been a while since I've last played Halo 4, so decided to jump on it, since my Xbox Live Gold is expiring soon. For this video I'm playing SWAT, which is one of my favorite game types for any of the Halo games. This was the first match of the day and surprisingly did really good; I guess I still have it in me.
I also wanted to mention that on June 15, 2013 the Halo 4 Global Championship will begin, which is hosted by 343 Industries and Virgin Gaming. There will be $500,000(USD) in prizes, including a grand prize of $200,000 (USD). The tournament will include 5 weeks of online competition were players will be playing in the custom tournament playlist up until August 31 - September 1, 2013. You must register first at www.halo4globalchampionship.com so go sign up now if you want to be part of it. More details are on the site.
The way it will work is 4 players at the end of the week (from each of the 5 weeks) with the top average scores will be deemed a winner, so you're going to want to play A LOT and play really good. If you have what it takes, then do it! If you're not chosen in one of the weeks, you'll still have 4 more chances. Also, signing up will give you a DLC shirt for your avatar. Here are the playlists and dates:
-Week 1 [July 15th to July 21st] -- Infinity Rumble
-Week 2 [July 22nd to July 28th] -- Rumble SWAT
-Week 3 [July 29th to August 4th] -- Rumble Pro
-Week 4 [August 5th to August 11th] -- Rumble Grab Bag
-Week 5 [August 12th to August 19th] -- Legendary Rumble
-Finals [August 30th to September 2nd] -- FFA/1v1
There will also be a Champions Bundle which contains three DLC packs, as well as bonus content, including: Bullseye Pack (Includes Ricochet, a new game type), Steel Skin Pack, Infinity Armor Pack. Bonus content includes: new stances, armor and weapon skins, and a new armor mod.
