The Last of Us PLATINUM TROPHY
*THIS VIDEO SPOILS THE ENDING* I finally got the Platinum Trophy "It can't be for nothing." It's not hard to get actually, just takes time. What I did was play the game on Normal and Normal+ to find all the collectibles, artifacts, training manuals, comics, and Firefly pendants as well as upgrading all weapons, engaging in all conversations, unlocking all shiv doors, and listening to Ellie's jokes. This gave me the majority of the single player trophies and gave me the trophies for Normal/Normal+ and Easy/Easy+.
After doing all that, I redid the story and did a quick run on Survivor and Survivor+, but stopped playing when I reached the Epilogue part. You don't really have to use your guns that much, I mostly used the bottles/bricks to stun enemies and performed chokeholds. Certain parts you do have to use your guns though, but overall I was just running/sneaking pass everything.
Once I got to the Epilogue part, I went to play Multiplayer to finish both the Firefly and Hunter Journey to unlock their trophies. Each journey is an in game 12 week period, that's about 84 matches that you have to go through. You have to make sure you do good and pass all given multiplayer mission or you will end up losing your population. If you lose all population before the 12 weeks, you have to start the journey all over again. I didn't have that much trouble though, but there were times where I almost lost all my population towards the final week.
After I finished the Journey for both, which was last night, I went back to Survivor+ at the Epilogue part of the story, where I left off just before the cutscene, to make this video that you're watching right now. Playing on Survivor/Survivor+ first will unlock all lower difficulty levels for both, but I recommend starting on Normal/Normal+ so you know what to expect and get more items/parts to make shivs to unlock doors and upgrade all weapons; you're very limited in Survivor/Survivor+
There may be new trophies added to the game when the upcoming single player side story DLC comes out, but we'll see whenever it comes out.
Overall, it was an amazing story/game; ending could've ended differently though. I'll still continue to make Multiplayer videos though. I still have to upload the rest for the Hunter's Journey too.
