Halo Infinite Dev Update & Shotgun Removal
3In this month's Halo Infinite development blog, the team spent a lot of time talking about their design philosophies. The blog, which was incredibly verbose, would have been much better received if it were an audio podcast, a YouTube video, or even part of the now-dead Halo Channel on the Xbox console itself. Message delivery aside, the team needs to worry less about the core Halo gameplay - it's still timeless and amazing - and instead focus on story, story, and story.
In other news, it was announced that the infamous shotgun, the weapon that single-handedly got about 99.9% of us through any Flood level in Halo CE or Halo 3, has been removed in favor of a new type of shotgun. This is a horrible idea.
