It's not possible to do the turret section without shooting.

This is a playthrough of Halo: Reach on Legendary without firing a bullet. The only weapons usable are the Energy Sword and grenades. Anything handheld that fires a projectile of any sort is off limits. This also goes for turrets and vehicles, although I can still use vehicles as long as I don't shoot with them. Out-of-bounds exploits are also against my rules. Utilising marines to shoot is allowed.

Unfortunately, unlike in previous Halo games, Reach has a fair few moments where it's necessary to shoot for the sake of progression. Perhaps they can be done with extreme luck, game exploits and/or patience, but this is more about the fun of the challenge rather than any extreme trial and error that comes by attempting to do the impossible.
