Halo: Reach is the next installment of the Halo franchise to be released in Fall 2010. It will be a full-fledged sequel to Halo 3. Though, in the Halo timeline, it's really a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved. As the fourth full-fledged Halo game from Bungie, it's basically the Halo 4 everyone was waiting for.
Halo: Reach is a first-person shooter, taking place during Halo: The Fall of Reach and Halo: First Strike, when there are many Spartan-IIs still in action.
The developer is the newly spun-off Bungie and the publisher is still Microsoft Game Studios. In the split agreement Microsoft retained the rights to the Halo franchise, which means it will still be an Xbox 360 exclusive game.
