This is the extended version of the latest Halo: Reach tv ad. Halo: Reach is the next installment of the Halo franchise to be released in Fall 2010 on Sept. 14. Reach will be a full-fledged sequel to Halo 3. Though, in the Halo timeline, it's really a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved. As the fourth full-fledged Halo game from Bungie, it's basically the Halo 4 everyone was waiting for and likely to be the last Halo game made by Bungie.
Halo: Reach is a first-person shooter, taking place during Halo: The Fall of Reach and Halo: First Strike, when there are many Spartan-IIs still in action.
The developer is the newly spun-off Bungie and the publisher is still Microsoft Game Studios. In the split agreement Microsoft retained the rights to the Halo franchise, which means it will still be an Xbox 360 exclusive game. Because of the split, any future Halo games are likely to be made in house by Microsoft.
