Now this is presentation. As for the rest...it's mixed, but positive.

The wrestlers are obviously "borrowed", as my Sting clone will attest to. The controls are a mess, but not an unapproachable mess. Button mashing does win the day and you are actually allowed to get some strikes in. In a bad wrestling game, if you're close enough to punch, you're close enough to get punched and you will get the crap beat out of you. In a good wrestling game, you're allowed to land a few blows and your success is determined on how well you get the rest of it down.
It's not impossible to control, but it's not intuitive. It doesn't even use the L and R buttons and it's Y - punch (never lands), B - kick, A - strong attack, X - run. The grappling is where things just get messy, but I'm sure more practice would get it figured out. There's obviously more mores in this game...

Which brings me back to the presentation. It's a very, very good presentation if you're watching it. It's not great when you're playing it because it just throws your perspective off and there are things flying around above and below you that you can't even look at. But there is some effort here.
