Hangar and Hull Customization
8Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages features a rich customization system. Each of the game's 65 hulls act as templates that can be filled with almost endless combinations of the 350 active and passive abilities contained by pieces of equipment.
None of the gear you acquire throughout the single-player campaign or various multiplayer modes will ever be made obsolete.
Abilities may be bound to nearly any button on the controller, including the D-Pad. We've made the Left Shoulder Button a modifier that allows you to bind four extra skills to the main buttons for those who like to have the versatility of many skills. However, loading a template with only a few active abilities and mostly passives is also an entirely viable strategy.
