HAPPY NEW YEARS 2017!!! - New Years Remasters and more
Happy New Years everyone (it's probably no longer New Years for some of you on some part of Earth)! Just going to let you know that as of today, I released GP6 remastered tracks of my Digimon I & II Medleys and RCT Medley. Those three covers of mine really needed to be remade. I actually can no longer stand my original GP6 covers of them due to the rhythm guitars being mono, which is why, in these remasters, I changed the type of bridges for the guitars in my Guitar Pro 6 RSE setup. I also added extra instruments in my first Digimon METALution Medley. And I also changed the slides (I hated the how slides worked in Guitar Pro 6, so I went around that and tabbed each slide note on each fret; still not great but better, I guess). Also made some fixes to some notes that were in the originals and I also made some other adjustments and so forth.
I did a lot of work in my Digimon METALution Medley I remaster. My second Digimon medley, not so much (I mainly changed the guitars and increased the volume on the drums and made other small fixes including slides and such). I added some new riffs in my RCT Medley (Fantasy Style needed to be better so I made it better and more climatic and an extra Rock Style 3 custom solo riff [no new song]).
And for other news, I've been thinking about remaking my original songs on real instruments. Before making a full album, I might remake my "Radical Lightning" and "Shining Sorrow" original songs on a real guitar (maybe, depending when I feel like it), but I'll need to learn how to record music (I actually test recorded in REAPER, but not enough to get the hang of it). I'll also need a good drum VST before I start making songs in REAPER and I'll see if I can get a hold of EZDrummer 2 or something.
And when I do plan on making music on real guitar, I'll sell those on Loudr, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon MP3, whatever. Original songs, I'll definitely sell once I remake them (but I'll still keep their Guitar Pro 6 counterparts free in case if you don't want to purchase my music). If I do song covers on real guitar and sell them, it'll be individual songs. I will not sell medleys since I hear that selling medleys is a nightmare and I could lose money instead of receiving money when the money goes out to the original artist(s). I heard about that from a guy called FamilyJules. He's awesome. Go check him out. https://www.youtube.com/user/FamilyJules7X
But even if I ever do plan on making songs on real guitar, I'll still be making Guitar Pro 6 Covers and give out tabs of my covers too (until the original artist(s) decides to claim them).
Anyway, have a Happy New Year guys. I'll try to get those remastered videos out soon but I'll put effort into them in some way. Well, whenever I feel like it and right now, I feel lazy and want a break from all of this.
