One of the best games of the 360/PS3 generation... and NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT IT! Arc System Works put out an amazing anime take on contra. Theres a sweet rising mode that adds a progression system to beef up your guys allowing nearly anybody to slowly get better and beat the game. Also a super hard arcade mode is there for the purist to pull their hair out.

+ Rising mode makes each time you play feel like progress
+ Awesome detailed gfx
+ Excellent Sound
+ Great controls
+ BC on XBOX ONE!



- NEGATIVES
- No option to turn off double taps to run.

- A little too long for arcade game stuff like 1cc and one life clear
- Going from buffed up in rising mode to arcade mode is very jarring.
