Scottish Bex returns in Episode 12 of her Hardspace Shipbreaker solo series, and this one’s packed with new tech, personal stories, and rising tensions.

Today’s contract is the Salty Lewiski Carrier, a Heavy Cargo Javelin worth a solid $30.2 million, previously owned by Hudson Industry. With its slick grey and teal colour scheme, it’s a visually striking vessel — and a new ship type for Bex, bringing with it new challenges and plenty of opportunities to test her cutting-edge salvage skills.

While working through the layers of cargo and hazard, Kaito opens up about his past and the reasons that brought him to the yard. His story gives weight to the growing unrest among the team — a feeling that’s becoming harder to ignore with each shift.

At the same time, Bex takes advice from the comments section and finally purchases the Charged Push upgrade. It’s time to put it to the test — and the results? Let’s just say “interesting” doesn’t quite cover it. It’s powerful, unpredictable, and maybe a little too fun to play with.

But not everything in the yard is just tools and salvage. HAL’s grip on the crew is tightening, and morale is dropping fast. This leads to a bold moment — Lou quietly suggests the word “union.” It’s dangerous talk under a corporate eye as cold as HAL’s, and it might be the spark that changes everything... or sets off something no one can stop.

End music: Acoustic Breeze by Benjamin Tisso
