Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (XBox), Part 4, Finale
Well, this game certainly is anticlimactic. It ends so abruptly, but that is the least of my worries. The main frustrating part of this game is the way it takes about 20 seconds to cast simple spells. Want to cast Wingardium Leviosa? Wait for your terrible AI friends to walk over to you (very slowly) and finally cooperate. Want to put out a fire? Cast Aguamenti for 20 seconds until the fire finally goes out. Meanwhile, while your swirling water out of your wand, enemies can come up to you and attack when you are completely vulnerable. Your AI friends are supposed to help you during this time, but they never do. Also, the enemies are way too strong. Watch towards the end of this video. I cast constant spells on a dugbog 20, 30, 40 times, and it doesn't die. What do you want from me, game? It's a DUGBOG!
Yeah, I said at the start that this game wasn't as bad as I remembered, and well, really, it's not. It has lots of potential, but the more you play it, the more its flaws are exposed. I believe this might be a fun game to play with three people, which is what the game developers really wanted, in my opinion. Three friends cooperating together to complete these puzzles. That might be fun, but with the AI being as horrible as it is, it really takes away from the fun of the game when playing by yourself. Maybe I'll revisit this game again in another 20 years, but I'm not planning on any time sooner than that. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/koachkrab127
