Made in 1996 after an incredibly tumultuous time, the first ever farming sim game graced the world. I, however, acquired it from the Wii eShop over a decade later. Your parents bought you a farm to help you accomplish your dreams of... being a farmer. Rancher? Either way, that's the whole story. It's really fun.

Released originally in 1996, being localized in the West in 1997 and having a good number of rereleases, Harvest Moon SNES is a classic game and the dawn of the farming sim genre. Released on SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Wii, Wii U, NSO.
