It's almost the end of the Harvesting season and we are down to our second last field for harvesting which has a crop of canola. But first we go to the dairy and load up all our cheese onto our flat back trailer with the fork lift and sell it for $52,296 + $5,993 environmental bonus.

Then we make a start on harvesting the canola. When the harvesting is completed, we are left with a yield return of 29,240 Litres of canola. We will store this In the grain bin with the 84,000L of canola we harvested in the previous episode. When we build the oil mill, we will work out how much we can process in a year to manufacture into canola oil and sell the surplus canola in the winter when we will achieve the best price for our crop.

After the grain is stored away we make a start on mulching and cultivating the first of our fields in preparation for drilling next year's crops. In the next episode we will have our final crop for harvesting which is a crop of flax followed by baling the flax straw which we will deliver to the spinnery.
