Has FPS dropped since CS:GO's release?
7,636In short: It has and by quite a lot in some situations. I benchmarked using my old PC in CPU and GPU-limited situations, comparing the oldest available version on Steam (From late 2012/very early 2013) with the current version.

I did the empty map test several times on different maps and got the same result. I'm confident to say that- other than the other players- the game has become more CPU-efficient!
